The Clare Valley Brewing Company is a new brewery setup in Auburn near the Clare Valley. The brewery started brewing in 2013 with three beers and a cider.

Monkey's Uncle (Originally named Ranga Tang) is a Red Ale, a style of beer that is becoming increasingly popular in Australia.



Style - American Amber / Red Ale
Strength - 4.5%
Size - 330mL Bottles, 2 Litre Growler & Draught
Colour - Deep Amber
Aroma - Sweet malt flavours with toffee & caramel.
Malt - Great sweet malt on the pallet with toffee & caramelized malt flavours.
Hops - The first impression is only slight bitterness, though it does grow and linger at the back of the pallet.
Overall Taste - A sweet malty ale, with a nice bitter finish.
Overall - A great example of a Red Ale, a style that is becoming popular in Australia.
