Big shed brewing concern
Golden stout time
By : Beer Adelaide
Aug 2015
Next in line of sweet dessert beers is Big Shed Brewing's Golden stout time. This beer was originally brewed for the 2015 GABS festival and was rated 3rd in peoples choice at the festival (Even though it polled number one on untappd).

The inspiration for this stout is a Streets Golden Gay Time ice-cream, and from the first smell you can tell they have really succeeded.

Style - Milk / Sweet Stout
Strength - 5.4%
Size - 330mL Bottles & Draught
Colour - Deep velvety black.
Aroma - A sweet smooth aroma of honeycomb, vanilla and chocolate.
Malt - Roasted Cocoa, with sweet vanilla, honeycomb and malt biscuits.
Hops - Very little bitterness.
Overall Taste - A great tasting dessert stout, with loads of sweetness and hints of roasted flavours.
Overall - Not sure what the sorcerers at Big Shed Brewing have done but this is one of the best tasting sweet ales I have tried. If you are a fan of sweet stouts you NEED to find a bottle and give it a try.
