Joseph Ind & William John Cross were bottlers of West End beer in South Australia. The company was taken to court for copying the label from Boars Head Stout (Brewed in England), with Ind & Cross trying to pass their Stout off as the imported English stout. The business was very sort lived with the partnership being dissolved by August 1878. Joseph Ind continued bottling beer into the 1880's, with reports he was bottling Waverley Beer in 1881. |
