The Monster Beer Bottling Company was setup on Currie Street in 1875, bottling imported beer and manufacturing Crown branded cordials and aerated waters. The company moved to Grenfell Street in 1877 and then finally in 1878 to Logues Brewery in Kent Town. The business was put up for sale in 1879.
