Charles Williams was the head brewer of the Walkerville brewery, and when the brewery moved to Southwark
Mr Williams quit and purchased the old Walkerville brewing premises. The Walkerville Co-Operative Brewery had
tried to purchase the brewery not long after it opened and Mr Williams was able to hold back any offers until 1906
when the brewery was sold. The brewery site was later used by the Co-Operative Mineral Waters Company.![]() Brewery building c1889 |
