Mr. Bartholomew John Conroy was the Licensee of the Vintage Shades Inn in Norwood in 1894, When the beer duty act of 1894 came into force Mr. Conroy stated that he had setup a new brewery able to produce 400 Gallons of beer a month (Approximately 8 hogsheads) . Mr. Conroy also purchased bulk beer off Henry Pike's Dorset Brewery in Oakbank. |
