George Teagle was the brewer at the Allens Creek brewery from the late 1860's until 1892 when he left the business and built a new brewery on his property just out of Kapunda. The new brewery was named the Hillsley Brewery and was operational by Christmas 1892. The brewery advertised regularly until 1895, though the were references to the brewery until 1905.
