| Island Pure was a sheep dairy and cheesery located near the Cygnet River on Kangaroo Island. The Owner Geoff Rischbieth wanted to use local grown ingredients to make a try Kangaroo Island beer. A small brew on premises setup was purchased in 2015, with six small kettles, and a partnership was established between the brewery and the Sealink , which would supply their beer on the ferry from the mainland to KI. Island Pure fell on hard times and closed in 2018, without the brewery operating at all, several prototype beers were brewed at U-Brew-It in Kilburn, but these were never publicly available. |
