| George Malcolm, brother of Alex Malcolm, partnered with Andrew Kirsopp to manufacture aerated waters on Franklin Street. After their partnership dissolved, George continued alone, leveraging his brother's reputation to advertise. However, he couldn't pay for the machinery and bottles he purchased and was declared insolvent on January 24, 1854. |
