Armagh Brewery
A brewery was built in the new mining township of Armagh just two miles from Clare. The original builder of the
brewery sold the property soon after completion to William Kerr who operated the brewery until 1858 when he built a new brewery in Clare. The brewery was then leased to Alex Patterson, though it is uncertain that he continue to brew beer at the brewery. Adelaide Times, 8th April 1850  South Australian Register, 10th October 1854 |
