Gawler West Brewery
Thomas Jones Monro had managed aerated water factories around the northern townships, and by 1872, he
constructed a brewery on the western side of Gawler. The new business brewed alcoholic beers as well as aerated
waters and cordials. The brewery operated until Mr Monro's death in 1879. Bunyip, 14th September 1872 |
