| In several newspaper reports in 1879, there is mentions of a brewery being constructed in the new township of Farina
Town. But unfortunately, by 1883 the brewery was put up for sale, along with an aerated waters machine. The brewery
closed due to water shortages and the proprietor having to cart water to the brewery. Charles Henry Gray lived in Farina between 1880 to 1883 and was most likely the owner of the brewery ![]() Adelaide Observer, 3rd November 1883 |
