Strathalbyn Brewery


James (Jim) Bryan constructed a brewery on the outskirts of Strathalbyn in 1867, Mr Bryan has brewed previously in New South Wales. James was joined at the brewery by Guildford Emery Gray in 1868, the brewery was plagued by quality problems and was closed in 1871. The pair went on to brewery at the Macclesfield brewery.
