Beer Garden Brewing was a craft brewery established in Port Lincoln on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula during the growth of the state’s independent brewing industry in the 2010s. Founded by locals Mark and Janie Butterworth, the brewery became one of the first modern craft breweries operating in Port Lincoln and helped introduce locally brewed craft beer to the region’s developing food and tourism industry.

The brewery operated from premises overlooking the Port Lincoln foreshore and quickly developed a reputation for approachable craft beers designed to suit the coastal climate and seafood culture of the Eyre Peninsula. Beer Garden produced a range of beers including pale ales, lagers, IPA-style beers and seasonal releases, with much of its trade linked to tourism and the town’s hospitality industry.

Port Lincoln itself had a long history of hotels and licensed premises dating back to the nineteenth century, but like much of regional South Australia it had never maintained a large brewing industry of its own. Beer Garden formed part of the modern revival of small independent brewing operations appearing throughout regional South Australia during the early twenty-first century.

In December 2024 the brewery was sold to the owners of Alice Springs Brewing Co in the Northern Territory. Following the acquisition, the new owners announced plans to further develop the brewery and strengthen its position as a regional brewing destination on the Eyre Peninsula. As part of the change in ownership, Beer Garden Brewing was rebranded as Port Lincoln Brewing, a name intended to create a stronger direct association with the city and the wider Eyre Peninsula region.
