Yorke Peninsula Mineral Water Co

Charles Edwin Yerbury Medlin established the 'Yorke Peninsula Mineral Water Company' in 1906. He was the eldest son of Charles Medlin (senior), who had connections with the Port Augusta Brewery and the Swan Brewery in Perth, Western Australia. Charles Medlin (senior) was born in England in 1852 and passed away on February 25, 1920, in Perth.

In 1896, Charles Medlin (junior) began working for John Eastman in Broken Hill. He briefly worked in Menzies, Western Australia, and also had a partnership in Tarcoola with A. Berg, D.D. Cogan, and J.B. Leaver.

In 1906, Medlin relocated to Minlaton and established the 'Yorke Peninsula Mineral Water Company.' A detailed description of this venture can be found in the Cyclopedia of South Australia, Volume 2, 1909. Later, Medlin worked for E.P.C.O.L. at Port Lincoln.
