In 1841 Thomas Moulden was the licensee of the Sir John Barleycorn Hotel (Later Rundle Hotel) on Rundle Street, Adelaide. The last reference to the brewery was in 1844. In 1851 Moulden briefly started brewing at Brownhill Creek at the Deepdell Brewery but became insolvent later the same year. Moulden would later become head brewer for several of the states first large breweries like the Morphet Street Brewery, with his name being advertised alongside the companies beers. |
