Normanville Brewery

Benjamin Pascoe was born in the Cornwall area in England, he emigrated to Australia and moved to the new township of Normanville in the mid 1850's. Benjamin built a brewery near the Normanville Hotel to supply the area with fresh beer, and while the venture started well his output slowed down over the years until eventually he would only brew a hogshead a month. The brewery was closed in 1865 and Benjamin moved to Yankalilla, a small township a few miles inland from Normanville.
