Condon & McMahon originated with Michael Bernard Condon and Patrick Edward McMahon. Initially, M.B. Condon worked for Howard Smith, while selling Williams Bros. Boshter Beer in his spare time. P.E. McMahon was a cordial maker at Williams Bros. Co-op Mineral Waters, leading to their partnership. McMahon served in World War I, and upon his return, they joined forces in manufacturing aerated waters and cordials at Federation Rd. in Port Pirie. In March 1920, they ordered 2,160 ginger beer bottles and utilized Riley's patent bottles. They also continued bottling Boshter Beer. On June 15th, 1922, they formed a company with Sylvester Condon and Jack Condon, purchasing W.H. Moyle's aerated water manufactory and operating as Moyle & Co. thereafter. This continued until their sale to Coca-Cola in 1968.
